Audibles: All you need to know

The whole idea was born about half a year ago when a group of technology enthusiasts ( pronounce /ˈdeː.ɣə(n)s/ ) gave birth to their first three-pixel tweet

But he didn’t warm up there for very long-

First, we wanted to find out what people thought about it.

And so, before the actual release, we started connecting with people in the space while gradually collecting their opinions.

After receiving lots of positive feedback and about 4 months of collecting the opinions of all the people we managed to connect with, we came out strong and determined with our final product.

But the goal remain the same the whole time-

A mission of turning a pixel into a sound.

Therefore allowing people to create their own audible NFTs.

And so we did-

we started with trying to imitate what would a pixel sound like.

At first it sounded something like this:

Our project thus begins with the basic, raw sound of the pixel. This sound will be used exclusively in our Phase I: Genesis Tokens.

The whole concept has 4 (?) phases with each one having its own collection on our marketplace and will only be visible and playable there.

All of Audibles collections will also appear on Blur, Opensea and other public marketplaces. However only in the form of empty grids.

This way everybody’s art is safe.

We see the importance of true freedom in digital art.
And we want our community’s art expressions untouchable from any censorship.

Create and mint your audible pixel art on audibles.app.

Everything starts on audibles.app/mint where you can find Phase I: Audible Editor.

In this editor you are able to create and mint your genesis audible NFT tokens, exclusively with raw sounds of the pixel.

Genesis tokens will remain musically closest to the sound of the pixel.

By gradually unlocking other phases, you will able to modify its visual and audio incredibly.

Choose from 5 grids of different sizes on which you will be able to draw using 16 shades of gray-

of which each shade represents a different tone.

Each grid has its supply, and its number of keys which you will receive immediately after minting the individual grid.

8X8 GRID (444) = 1 KEY
16X16 GRID (1111) = 2 KEYS
24X24 GRID (2444) = 3 KEYS
32X32 GRID (3444) = 5 KEYS
64X64 GRID (9999) = 8 KEYS

Keys

Keys are used to unlock:

other phases,
additional tools,
extra accessories
rare attributes.

Keys can be only obtained in several ways:

Exclusively from genesis minting in Phase I.
By burning your tokens.
By inscribing your tokens onto BTC.

Burning any token will always get you = 2 keys.
Inscribing any token will allways get you = 4 keys.

Collecting keys will be only available for allotted time, in between of Phase I and II. Exact time will be announced on twitter, discord and on audibles.io.

This phase is used for creation + mint of your genesis tokens, and to collect keys that you will need in the future.

*And it is the begging of Audibles journey.*

Additional phases will unlock for one of your tokens in exchange for 32 keys.

Once next phases are unlocked on the .app, the keys are automatically distributed.

According to the number of collected keys in the allotted time, you’ll be able to choose tokens you want to modify and take through the next Phases.
