My name is Austin Parker. I’ve worked most of my life as a Serial Entrepreneur building industry-leading, multi-million dollar companies on ‘main street’. Today, I run several businesses that work in the green energy and sustainability arena and invented the idea of real estate portfolio energy efficiency construction platforms. My experience in building businesses spans over 20 years but in NFT’s is limited only to a few months.
Do you remember the first time someone showed you an NFT? “$300,000? Are you insane? It’s just some jpeg!” My brother-in-law forever changed my world. After persuading me to download a MetaMask wallet and dive head first into the unknown — here I am last night up at 4AM trying to find the next BAYC or CryptoPunk.
Look familiar? I’m pretty sure we’ve all felt this way a few times. It’s such a fun time to be here and as everyone always says — we are so early (WAGMI). However, in the midst of this joy and thrill we are also overcome with rugs, nefarious projects looking to deceive and a real lack of what I will refer to as ‘real world experience’ leading from the front.
So what do I mean? I am no NFT or Crypto expert. Just like NFT and Crypto experts are not experts at building an actual business. The skills are very different. The Metaverse has introduced me to a band of weary travelers that felt as I did — Where do we go to find information? Trade ideas? A ‘safe space’? A true refuge away from developers and artists that can’t deliver on a roadmap? A space that welcomes in those who are seeking and that uplifts other NFT Projects and creates a path forward for us all to learn and grow as a space?
Enter OnChain Events.
OnChain Events is the first project of it’s kind. Rather than focus on another PFP, game, token or DAO we aim to focus on building a community built for all: Lions, Apes, MonsterBuds, DeadHeads, Whales, Punks, Newbies, Women, Men, Straight, Gay, Boom or Zoom. Our goal is to bring together everyone to learn, celebrate and enrich our space away from the siloed off normality that we have today.
In the ‘normie world’ we have trade associations — why not here? Because of a lack of real world leadership bringing together practical solutions into a growing space. “But you can go to NFT.NYC!” I am. But what about the little guy? What about the kid over in Italy who can’t afford a $10,000 week-long trip to learn and engage with the best and brightest? We seek to bridge this gap and make it so that ALL can attend… ALL can grow.. ALL can be nurtured. We have to be better.
To date, we have over thirty (30) NFT projects and other organizations like Stacks signed on for our first NFT Event entitled ‘TRICK or TREAT’. This event will include:

- Costume Contest
- Meme Contests
- Over 30 NFT Projects, Software Platforms and Crypto-Currencies will take the stage to educate, answer questions and talk about how we can come together as a community to grow and become stronger.

*Our Charity Partner is: Water Mission. They are already underway building over $1MM in water systems across Haiti with Big League Impact. We are going to directly partner with them to provide much needed funding to help ensure that people are provided one of the best, dollar-for-dollar, ways to save life and lift people out of poverty — clean water.
I have personally worked with and seen their work in Africa and Haiti. Over the past several years I was given the opportunity to see with my own eyes the life changing effect it can have on people. These groups are composed of some of the most generous and hard working people on the planet.
Like many of you, I have no idea how I ended up here and I still have no idea what I’m doing. One thing I do know for sure is how amazing the community and cultural aspect of the Metaverse and crypto culture is — it truly defines it in a way that I can’t explain to my normie friends. We have been humbled by the love, adoption and outreach from the broader NFT Community that led to our first mint of 3,500 Genesis Ghost’s selling out in under 3 minutes on a shock release. You guys are the real MVP.
We cannot wait to celebrate Halloween with the best people on the planet, do large give aways, help those who need it the most and to begin our next chapter in planning the World’s First Virtual NFT Conference with tickets that are affordable for everyone at a price of .01 ETH. As we grow, we intend to incorporate future events, parties and conferences into the virtual Metaverse that engage the broader community and provide you with opportunities to learn, hear from the experts and be protected as we all look towards the horizon, together, for what is to come.
