About Project
What Are Wiz Bums? Wiz Bums are a collection of Wizards inspired from my high school shenanigans. I started by taking a sticky note pad full of Wizards and polluting my school until it became a renoun mystery. I’ve failed and tried again. This project isn’t supposed to make your pants fall off on the rocket. We hope it does, but it is about not taking these Jpeg thingies too seriously. It’s about giving back, creating laughter and bringing amusement through NFTs. V1 intentionally doesn’t have metadata. What I want to give the people and what the market wants are two different things. V2 is what the market wants, V1 is what makes you stay, laugh, and build with us. Check out the discord!
I airdropped V1 into the abyss because I needed someone to rock with my work and ride with me. It was our communities idea to make a generative collection, so that’s what we did. Everything has been free here. Our merch, NFTs and love for each other. We seem to be a tight-knit small community. We welcome you to the adventures of the Wiz Bums! Remember to eat carrots and get shwifty! We use ✍voting to guide our steps. And 🎿community-ideas to boss me around then build from there. We never stop and are always building / lurking. We just completed a generative version as a community. Now we are building it and planning to eventually draw again and keep implementing bums in other forms and fashions. The Wizards come from a lost planet in space and time, Planet Jenkins!
The Wizards used to sing freely and cast spells, unaware their planet was shrinking due to too much Shleem extraction. (The Good Drank) Then, one day the planet erupted, leaving loners and forcing other Bums out to the abyss of the Solar System. ⚓
The Wizards were inspired by MAD TV / Spy V Spy to be particular. Each OG has it’s own unique name and origin story too.
The creator is some weird Degen who sits in his moms basement all the time. I think his name is Jeb. @llkoolj6969. Heard he did every piece of the mint on his own using Adobe Illustrator.
