Step 1: Choose a Bridge Protocol
[This step will be pre-selected by the project team]
Select a bridge protocol that supports the interoperability between Ethereum and Bitcoin. Various protocols are available, such as Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Ren Protocol, or other similar solutions. Research and choose the one that best suits your needs.

Step 2: Set Up the Bridge Wallet
You’ve minted your SKAPE on the Ethereum blockchain! Create a wallet that supports Bitcoin Ordinals. This wallet will be used to hold bridged ordinals on Bitcoin. Examples of such wallets include ordinalsafe or Xverse.

Step 3: Wrap the NFT
Wrap or tokenize the NFT on the Ethereum network using the chosen bridge protocol. This process converts the unique NFT into a standardized ERC-20 token that represents ownership of the original NFT. The wrapped NFT can then be transferred across different blockchains.

Step 4: Initiate the Bridge Transaction
Initiate the bridge transaction by sending the wrapped NFT to the bridge’s designated address. This transaction will trigger the bridge’s smart contract to lock the wrapped NFT on Ethereum and release the equivalent ordinals on the Bitcoin network. Follow the specific instructions provided by the chosen bridge protocol for this step.

Step 5: Receive the Ordinals
Once the bridge transaction is confirmed and finalized, you will receive the bridged ordinals in your bridge wallet. These ordinals represent the ownership of the original NFT on the Bitcoin network. You can now interact with the ordinals on the Bitcoin network or transfer them to other Bitcoin wallets as desired.

It’s important to note that the team will choose the specific steps and protocols. Make sure to follow the instructions provided by the to-be-announced bridge protocol.

Stay posted for more updates @SKAPESordinals!
