Welcome to Miningverse. This project has two core aspects. One is the brand development based on our NFT characters.

The 10,000 NFT characters we are to publish will come in 5 series, namely Cuhtlis, Utammaghts, Ambrosias, Humans, and Raksanas, each containing 2,000 works, comprising 20% of the total amount of characters.

We are to develop a story based on the mentioned 5 series and expand our brand based on the story. We also emphasize the integration of the two core aspects, so the story will also incorporate elements of mining, embodied in the story as the accumulation of resources. Such a combination of virtuality and reality will help integrate the core aspects. Provided below are the backgrounds of the five tribes in the story. We expect to complete subsequent developments and fill in specific details of the story together with the community.

Cuhtlis

Cuhtlis

The Cuhtlis were gods of fire, but they were deprived of godhood and their offsprings were forever sentenced to mortality for they pitied humans and passed the knowledge of fire onto them. Their eyes, once flaming and flaring like torches, are now cursed to resist light, for a Cuhtli’s flesh is to be set on fire implacable once the merest beam of light touches upon their eyes. So for generations after their exile to the world of the mortals, they have shunned from light. And the humans once they so pitied now see only inauspiciousness in the strange pupils and exotic deeds of the Cuhtlis and would immolate a Cuhtli with little hesitation whenever they encounter one, with the very thing called fire. Even with the recent invention of “the light obstructer”, which has indeed made their lives more endurable, the Cuhtlis yet cannot walk unscrupulously in daylight, for any contact with light is unbearably painful. And the possibility that someone, malicious or mischievous, may easily expose a Cuhtli by taking off their “obstructer”, still keeps them away from daylight. Despite the deprivation of all their powers, the Power of Fire, obtained from the Sacred Vermilion bird has remained in their hands as it is beyond the realm of gods. But their fear of light has kept them from taking advantage of that power until they developed the craft of the Pocifer, known as the Quench Glass.

Utammaghts

Utammaghts

The Utammaghts so firmly believe in the “weakness of the flesh and greatness of machinery” that they have replaced all parts of their bodies but the brain with machines, expanding their lifespan to a generous 400 years. They migrated to earth thousands of years ago from a star in a galaxy lightyears away. They happily adopt the faces of humans and share their knowledge of machinery with little reservation, so they are welcomed by most tribes on earth. The Utammaghts are fierce fighters but replacing flesh with machines has deprived them of many emotions, leaving them with cold rationality. Besides their refined fighting techniques and formidable physiques, the Utammaghts are also granted the Power of Water for the generous help their ancestors offered to the Sacred Black Tortoise, the god of water.

Ambrosias

Ambrosia

A few pieces of fruits fell down to the world of the mortals while the gods were feasting during a banquet in ancient times. The power within the fruits covered an entire village as they splintered on the ground. Such trivial negligence of a god has endowed the villagers and their offspring with the power of immortality. Their bodies stop aging the moment they came in contact with the shattered fruits. They also enjoy freedom from all mortal diseases and are endowed with the Power of Metal from the Sacred Kylin. Ambrosias do not differ from humans in any fashion other than their immortality, while the wisdom they have accumulated over the centuries has made them silent witnesses of history rather than fervent participants. And the Power of Metal has faded and remains dormant in their immortal bodies.

Humans

Humans

Humans are doomed with weak physiques but enjoy superior intelligence. They could barely comprehend the advanced technologies of the Utammaghts when they first arrived on earth, but are now on par with them and expect to soon surpass the Utammaghts and become the tribe with the greatest technological advances. Humans are the most populated tribe and the only one with the notion of nation-states. The constructs of human society are extremely sophisticated and mostly under the control of their elites. Their ancestors were granted the Power of Wood since their wisdom and tenacity touched the Sacred Azure Dragon, who bestowed the power as a gift to humans with the condition that humans are to unlock the power with their own intelligence, of which they are yet incapable.

Raksanas

Raksanas

Raksanas are formidable fighters with enormous stamina, speed, and savvy. Like the Ambrosias, the Raksanas stop to age as their physical conditions reach their pinnacles (at age 21–24). But unlike the Ambrosias, they take great pleasure in the condition of immortality. Raksanas have the worst moral characters among all tribes as they are mostly selfish, ruthless, and especially cunning. They invest little trust in each other but killings within the Raksana tribe are extremely rare, since they are well aware that fratricide is only detrimental to their tribe. Their social structure is loose with little unity, yet they are still governed by a chief like other tribes. The chief is usually someone of unchallenged strength as Raksanas are obsessed with physical prowess. Raksanas enjoy such great strength because they managed to obtain the Power of Earth by deceiving the Sacred White Tiger and stealing its power in ancient times.
