The body holds a powerful expressiveness beyond the limits of language. With its unique lexicon, it can showcase boldness, strength, and delicacy, showcasing embarrassment and sensuality. This silent conversation can reveal a lot about our desires, thoughts, and emotions, even when we’re not consciously aware of it.
In my portraits, I have sought to celebrate the imperfections that make each individual unique. Whether it’s a scar, a wrinkle, or a freckle, these imperfections are what make each portrait special and one-of-a-kind. They are a testament to each person’s journey and a reminder of the beauty that can be found in the seemingly ordinary.
Carnet Erotique is a French term that roughly translates to “erotic journal”, as the name suggests, is a personal and intimate collection. Every sketch is a reflection of the relationships I have built with my subjects and the trust they have placed in me. Each portrait holds a unique story. Not only a collection of sketches but also a celebration of the body with its vulnerability, and the stories it holds.
Carnet Erotique is brought to life in a new and exciting way through the power of blockchain and NFTs. Minted with my own custom-made Smart Contract (ERTQ), each NFT is a one-of-a-kind that captures the story and emotions behind each portrait. This a new way for collectors and enthusiasts to experience and own a piece of my work.
